Brandy & Louie were married in McCleansboro and their reception was at the Rend Lake Golf Course. They specified decorating with purple (the bride requested purple tulips), which was the color of the bridesmaids dresses but let me fill in the rest on my own! I decided to use lime green to offset the dark purple and used fresh flowers in varying shades of purple and green.
I personally loved the way everything came together (so did the bride & groom!).
The church alter...
Brides flowers.....(the bride carried all shades of purple with just a little bit of green - the bridesmaids carried mainly green with just a little purple - their dresses were a really dark shade of eggplant)
The BEAUTIFUL bride...
The bridesmaids flowers...
Pew markers, the church has the comfy, thickly padded chairs. So each 'pew' end had white organza draped and puddle on the floor with black satin ribbon tying the fresh floral pieces on.
The reception hall....my favorite part was the purple orchids in 16-inch vases - LOVED them!
I incorporated more of the green into the reception hall. We were under the impression that the tables would be rounds and found out that there wasn't enough room for them when we arrived to decorate, we had to make rows of pushed together banquets to have enough seating for everyone.

My 'design' had to change at the drop of a hat in order to get everything done in time - which of course I did. The tables had runners of the lime green satin along with alternating tall purple orchid vases, floating candles in 3 sizes groupings, fresh floral arrangements and small floating candles along with white, green and light purple votive candles scattered along the tables. Of course when all the candles were lit it made a huge impact. Unfortunately I was cleaning up the church when everything was lit so I wasn't able to get a picture.
You'll just have to trust me that is was GORGEOUS!
The curtain behind the head table was basically a curtain of lights!
The cake table...
Congratulations on the marriage!
