For Lindy's wedding shower we did a "garden tea party" of sorts. Her wedding colors were pale pink and brown - I tried to keep the shower in the same color family. The centerpieces were flowering hanging potted plants in shades of PINK that also served as the door prizes. The guests who won the door prizes were thrilled, the ones who didn't win were a little bummed they didn't get a plant! It was nice to be able to incorporate the centerpiece and door prize into something the guests appreciated.
The invitations were handmade with Stampin' Up products.
The room has three windows with deep panes, so I lined them with potted plants that also served as door prizes for the guests....wrap a potted plant in colored tissue paper and tie a ribbon around it to hold the paper in place

These were taken in the process of setting the food table. The "set" wasn't completely done. As you can tell the punch was just sherbert.....
