My full time job is as an accountant, decorating and photography are just a part-time / on the side hobby that I love doing.

My goal this year is to remember to take pictures of the events that I decorate. All too often I get so involved in the "decorating" that I completely forget to get my camera out to document my efforts, I can name too many weddings/showers which I have NO pictures to prove I was there. First wedding of the year....no pictures. I guess my goal for this year will have to be a work in progress.

Don & Helen's 50th Anniversary

I decorated for a 50th Anniversary which is the golden anniversary. The guest favor is honey sticks...the only unique thing I could come up with that's "GOLDEN". The place setting consistedof gold chargers, honey stick favors ties with gold/white narrow ribbon and a white napkin with a rose tucked into the tuck.
The centerpieces running down the middle of the tables were gold satin runners atop white linens; white, gold, and red candles of varying sizes; gold mint julep cups with roses; and large rose/hurrican candle centerpieces. I used all fresh flowers - they were mainly white & red roses, stephanotis, and red hypericum berries.
